Aggregation
At the national level, the agricultural sector has to its credit real successful models of agricultural aggregation. The main models cited in this regard are the following:
- the integrated development model of the early tomato sector in the Souss-MassaDraa region around an integrated early market center (inputs, advice, packaging, logistics);
- the spectacular and rapid development model in the northern region of the red fruit sector (fresh, frozen) intended for the European market;
- the model for setting up a national milk sector around collection centers ensuring integration with industrial milk processing units;
- the model of large-scale agricultural aggregation in the sugar sector around sugar refineries with extensive involvement in upstream agriculture (supervision, provision of services and pre-financing).
The key to these successes is the adoption of the project approach led by real agribusinesses
